As the MDerma is gently passed over your skin in a criss cross pattern, you’ll feel a vibration of tiny needle pricks on your skin. The sensation is dull, not sharp, because of the application of numbing cream prior to the treatment which does make the procedure very tolerable.
Skin needling treatment appointments generally last 30-60 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
Most recepients are able to return to daily activities after skin needling, but there may be some flushing of the skin for 12-48 hours.
When combined with Factor 4, there may be some skin redness for up to 48 hours, with mild bruising around the eyes and lips.
A treatment regime includes about four treatments, spaced two to four weeks apart.

As the energy is pulsed onto the skin, there is a a millisecond heat sensation which feels like the flick of a rubber band. Skin Room’s IPL technology has a cool tip so a lot of the heat is taken away immediately. Any extra heat sensation is drawn away from the skin by using ice packs during the treatment.
Clients find this treatment tolerable and no topical numbing cream is used.
This depends on the part of the body being treated.
Face treatment takes about 30 minutes.
Smaller areas like hands take 10 minutes, while larger areas such as arms can take up to 45 minutes.
We always allow a little more time for extra TLC, so that we can make sure you have home care instructions and you feel comfortable before leaving.
Recovery is quick and downtime is minimal after your IPL treatment.
You can expect to see a visible improvement, and in some cases an initial darkening/browning of affected areas within the first couple of weeks.
For best results, four monthly treatments are recommended.
IPL results last many years as the treatment is designed to reverse this visible signs of sun damaging which took many years to acquire.
However diligent sunscreen and sun habits are encouraged and maintenance with Active Skincare and an effective sunscreen are advised so that results are long lasting.

Laser Facial is appropriate for any skin type and age. It is used primarily for those who wish to treat:

Some clients describe this treatment as warm and balmy, like warm raindrops on the skin. It is not painful and numbing cream is not used.
This treatment takes around 40 minutes for the face, however a little longer if other modalities are used in combination.
Often our clients like to include the neck too which takes a further 20 minutes.
One of the major benefits of Laser Genesis is that there is no downtime.
In fact, most people are happy to resume their daily activities immediately after a treatment, or they plan Laser Genesis before a night out so their skin is looking fresh and vibrant.
A fortnightly/monthly course of six treatments are best suited for most situations. Fortnigthly intervals strongly recommended initially.
In most cases, following a course of treatments the results should last 6-12 months with good skin management; through daily use of Active Skin care and sun protection.
